IB PYP SCHOOL
Rose Stein International is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Authorization as an IB World School was granted in December, 2019. IB World Schools share a common philosophy — a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.
IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
PYP Framework
Prepares students for the intellectual challenges of further education and their future careers, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the
classroom and in the world outside.
The PYP prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. It focuses on the development of the whole child.
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme is a comprehensive, concept-based curriculum framework which utilizes inquiry as the primary method of instruction to promote the development of higher level thinking.Check out the organization’s website at http://www.ibo.org.
IB LEARNER PROFILE
At the core of the instructional framework, students at Rose Stein International will follow the IB Learner Profile.
